Did you know Maine is the oldest per capita state in the country? And Maine seniors are very active (that's why they live in Maine) and want to stay in their homes as long as possible. At Great Moose Renovations we help seniors achieve their goals of staying in their homes longer with our customized solutions.
Senior living modifications that we offer include: bathroom remodeling - where we remove the existing tub and replace it with a shower stall as large as the tub itself with grab bars, comfort seating and hand-held sprayers. In the kitchen we raise appliances so that our customers don't have to bend over all the time. We also raise electrical outlets throughout the house for this same reason. Door knobs are replaced with easy-functioning levers.
If our customers move about their homes with wheel-chairs, we widen doorways and replace fixtures with handicap accessible sinks and toilets. And we can build access ramps to anywhere for our customers!
